Tierra operates its own laboratory facilities in order to better meet the needs of its clients.  Our laboratories are certified by CMEC and qualified by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and have the latest laboratory testing equipment.  Our capabilities with respect to soils, concrete and asphalt have been approved by the FDOT. We were recently awarded a five (5) year laboratory material testing contract with FDOT District 7

As a DBE consultant pre-qualified in FDOT Work Group 10.3, Tierra provides CEI support services as a subconsultant to prime consultants on bridge and roadway transportation projects.  Tierra’s services include:

Quality Control Services (QC)

Tierra has a full team of CTQP certified professionals on staff to partner with Contractors on FDOT projects.  Our QC services are designed to complement an existing QC program or provide turnkey QC services; all based on our client’s needs.  Our goal is to build and nurture a strong relationship with our clients by providing cost efficient, reliable QC services resulting in a quality product for the owner.   Tierra’s QC services include:
